Our TGIF Plus service offers unlimited ACCELERATED dial-up Internet access (3-5x faster than standard dial-up service) combined with our brand new customizable web content filtering system and filtered email service. This system is designed to protect families from the dangers that lurk on the Internet, offering the peace of mind that comes from knowing that objectionable content will be held at bay.
How is TGIF Plus different than Standard TGIF Service?
Our TGIF Plus service differs from the standard TGIF service in three key ways. First, TGIF Plus service includes unlimited access to the Internet, versus TGIF Standard's 150 hour monthly limit. For families with mulitple members online, this is a vast enhancement. Second, TGIF Plus includes our revolutionary Acceleration system, which speeds up web browsing speeds as much as 5 times. For families who are reluctant to make the jump to DSL or cable Internet service, this is an extremely cost effective way to speed up your experience. Lastly, TGIF Plus service incorporates a customizable web-based content filtering system. Our standard service uses a rigid filtering system that applies the same rules to all customers. TGIF Plus empowers our subscribers to customize their web filtering, allowing for unique white and blacklists (sites explicitely allowed or disallowed), while also granting the account guardian "override" control to allow known-good sites that were overblocked through. This filtering system also allows for extremely detailed reporting, giving the guardian full access to exactly what websites were accessed. This provides a level of accountability that effectively prevents any attempts to thwart the filter.
What are the System Requirements for the TGIF Plus service?
TGIF Plus service is compatible with windows-based PCs only, running Windows 98 or greater with a working modem (connected to a standard analog telephone line), 32MB RAM and a Pentium II-grade 233Mhz or greater processor. 40MB hard-disk space is also required. The acceleration system works with nearly every web browser available.

TGIF Plus service offers Technical Support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at absolutely no charge. Our friendly technicians can walk you through troubleshooting and resolving just about any trouble that you may encounter.
Will the TGIF Plus filtering system block EVERY objectionable website?
We believe that our filtering system is the best available. With that being said, no filtering system can purport to be 100% effective in blocking every objectionable site on the Internet. With billions upon billions of webpages out there, it is impossible to block each and every page that contains an inappropriate image or text. We do not believe that this system is a replacement for adult supervision, but it is highly effective in protecting families from offensive web content. The addition of customizable filtering controls empowers the account guardian to override filtering or add explicit filtering rules to enhance the efficacy of the service. Access logs provide an aspect of accountability, as children that are aware that their usage is monitored are extremely less likely to attempt to thwart the filtering.
What if a "good" webpage is blocked or a "bad" webpage is not?
Unlike our standard TGIF service, if you encounter a website that is either erroneously blocked or incorrectly allowed through, the account guardian is able to override or explicitely block any page in the Internet. No longer will subscribers have to submit a site to the home office for approval or blocking.
